This Refund Policy applies to paid services on Dosnine Properties, specifically our Property Boost Advertising service. We are committed to providing fair and transparent refund procedures.
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any paid services. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Free Services
Basic property listings on Dosnine Properties are completely free and do not require payment. This refund policy does not apply to free services.
Free services include:
- Creating an account
- Posting property listings
- Browsing available properties
- Contacting property owners
- Managing your listings
3. Property Boost Service
3.1 Service Details
Our Property Boost service is a paid advertising feature with the following terms:
- Cost: JMD $2,500 per boost
- Duration: 10 consecutive days
- Features: Featured placement, rotating banner display (every 10 minutes)
- Limit: Maximum 20 active boosts platform-wide at any time
- Payment Method: PayPal (secure payment processing)
3.2 What's Included
- Property appears in featured banner rotation
- Property marked as "Featured" in search results
- Higher visibility to potential renters
- Analytics tracking (impressions, clicks)
- Priority placement in listings
4. Refund Eligibility
4.1 Eligible for Full Refund
You may request a full refund if:
- Technical Failure: Your boost was not activated within 24 hours of payment
- Service Not Delivered: Your property did not appear in the banner rotation
- Payment Error: You were charged incorrectly or multiple times
- Cancellation Before Activation: Request made within 24 hours of purchase and before boost goes live
4.2 Eligible for Partial Refund
You may request a partial refund if:
- Service Interruption: Platform downtime exceeding 24 hours during your boost period
- Early Termination by Us: We terminate your boost due to platform issues (not policy violations)
Partial refunds are calculated pro-rata based on the number of days remaining in your boost period.
4.3 NOT Eligible for Refund
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Change of Mind: After your boost has been activated
- Lack of Results: Not receiving rental inquiries or bookings
- Policy Violations: Boost cancelled due to Terms of Service violations
- Property Deleted: You voluntarily delete your property listing
- Account Termination: Your account is terminated for violations
- Expired Boosts: After the 10-day boost period has ended
- Queue Delays: Waiting time when 20 active boosts limit is reached
- Lower Visibility: Perceived or actual decrease in views/impressions
5. Refund Request Process
5.1 How to Request
To request a refund:
- Email us at info@dosnine.com
- Include "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Provide your account email and property ID
- Include your PayPal transaction ID
- Clearly state the reason for your refund request
- Attach any supporting documentation (screenshots, etc.)
5.2 Required Information
- Full name and account email
- Property title and ID
- Date of purchase
- PayPal transaction ID
- Detailed explanation of issue
- Any relevant screenshots or evidence
5.3 Processing Timeline
- Initial Response: Within 2 business days
- Review Period: 3-5 business days
- Decision Notification: Via email
- Refund Processing: 5-10 business days if approved
6. Refund Methods
6.1 PayPal Refunds
All refunds will be processed through PayPal back to the original payment method used for purchase. Refund processing times:
- PayPal Balance: Immediate upon approval
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days
- Bank Account: 7-14 business days
6.2 Refund Amount
Refunded amounts will be in the original currency (JMD). Any currency conversion fees or PayPal transaction fees are non-refundable.
7. Cancellation Policy
7.1 Pre-Activation Cancellation
You may cancel your boost within 24 hours of purchase if it has not yet been activated. Contact us immediately for a full refund.
7.2 Post-Activation Cancellation
Once your boost is active and running, cancellations are not typically eligible for refunds. However, we will review each case individually for technical issues or service failures.
7.3 Admin Cancellation
If we cancel your boost due to policy violations, fraudulent activity, or inappropriate content, no refund will be issued.
8. Service Guarantees
8.1 What We Guarantee
- Your property will be featured for the full 10-day period
- Your property will appear in the rotating banner
- Your property will be marked as "Featured" in search results
- Analytics will track impressions and clicks
8.2 What We Do NOT Guarantee
- Specific number of views or impressions
- Number of rental inquiries or applications
- Successful rental of your property
- Immediate availability if 20-boost limit is reached
- Specific placement order in banner rotation
9. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Reply to the decision email with additional information
- Request escalation to a senior team member
- We will conduct a final review within 5 business days
- The final review decision is binding
If you remain unsatisfied, you may file a dispute through PayPal's Resolution Center within their specified timeframe.
10. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks can result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Removal of all property listings
- Permanent ban from our platform
- Additional fees from PayPal
We are committed to resolving issues fairly. Most problems can be resolved through our refund request process.
11. Special Circumstances
11.1 Platform Outages
If our platform experiences significant downtime (over 24 hours) during your boost period, we will automatically extend your boost period or provide a prorated refund.
11.2 Natural Disasters
In case of natural disasters, hurricanes, or other force majeure events affecting Jamaica, we may offer extensions or refunds on a case-by-case basis.
11.3 Service Changes
If we significantly change the boost service during your active boost period, you may be eligible for a refund or compensation.
